For back-to-school season, CHOMPS wanted to prove its promise: a mess-free, high-protein snack for families on the move. We turned an abandoned retro building in Austin into the Protein Pit Stop, a two-day car detailing service and snack lounge. Valets in custom CHOMPS jumpsuits cleaned guests' cars while they sampled five flavors, built their own keychains and spun for merch, and every car went home with a branded seatback organizer stocked with snacks. The environment borrowed from vintage service stations, with red-and-white striped canopies, checkerboard tile and retro signage, so the brand read clearly from the street and on camera. Across two days: 1,064 guests, 92 cars detailed, 1,300+ product samples and an estimated 44M in earned media reach. As one guest put it: “Ugh, I wish this would stay here permanently.”
